Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Education or knowledge in some or all of the following technologies:

Java and Java Frameworks
HTML, especially HTML5
JavaScript
SQLPL/SQL
XML and XSLT
Groovy
C/Python/PHP
JQuery
Education or knowledge of Relational Database design principles (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
Ability to assume responsibility for less complex systems and analysis of projects involving development of subsystems
Ability to formulate programming code in more than one programming logic
Ability to multi-task
Ability to document systems
Good interpersonal and written communication skills

Duties Description Job Description:
The State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration, located in Albany, New York, is searching for multiple positions of IT Programmer Analysts.

These positions will support multiple campuses and departments within the Office of Information and Technology at SUNY System's headquarters, Albany, NY. Join us in developing the next generation of SUNY's administrative systems. We offer a technically rewarding environment with a good work/life balance.

We are looking for bright, ambitious Developers who will be responsible for enhancing, developing and maintaining our SUNY Student and Business systems with an immediate focus on human resources and finance.

Additional Comments Additional Information:

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications. Starting salary is $56,000.
State Title: Programmer/Analyst SL-2
