Minimum Qualifications Must be qualified employee of New York State with one year perm competitive service in qualifying title (list abailable):

Duties Description Perform tasks falling into communication, coordination, organization records maintenance which enable managers to accomplish agency mission. Review correspondence, draft responses, research info, transmit instructions to staff, conduct follow-up. Handle telephone calls, assist visitors, respond to questions, coordinate/arrange meetings, establish office procedures; design/set-up maintain office filing systems; resolve day-to-day operational problems; coordinate information flow by acting as liason to executive staff, employees public; operate equipment to produce reports documents. Admin Assistant 1 performs many secretarial tasks but does not fully participate in the management of an office or in the full scope of the program when there is an Admin Assistant 2.
