Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications Seven (7) years of experience related to Siebel Design, Development, and Maintenance and Operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of Management Experience related to Siebel Design, Development, and Maintenance and Operations.
Duties Description Manager Information Services (Siebel) duties include, but are not limited to:
• Proven experience as a Siebel Manager
• Direct complex activities associated with systems analysis and application program development.
• Respond to critical system incidents 24/7/365
• Drive overall developers’ optimization and success in meeting their targets and objectives.
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Liaison with Assistant Director of Enterprise Solutions and Reporting for project delivery, future work, recommendation, footprint expansion, resource planning and identification
• Oversee the development of system design documentation, including technical and functional design documents.
• Coordinate with NYS ITS technical staff and State Oversight Agency (SOA) representatives to address VPCR and external system integration issues.
• Manage and oversee Siebel platform integration and maintenance
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects
• Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
• Coordinate cross-project activities
• Lead and evaluate development tasks and agile workflow
• Apply change, risk, and resource management
• Turn business requirements into technical requirement
• Prepare reports for program directors
• Oversee technical and development consultants and direct work activities
• Coordinate with development staff on defects resolution identified during integration testing of new releases of features
• Collaborates well with a team
• Supervise subordinate staff
Additional Comments The New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice Center) is charged with protecting over one million New Yorkers under the care or jurisdiction of six state agencies. The following list outlines several of the Justice Center’s key responsibilities:
• Advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities and provide oversight of quality of care.
• Operate a centralized, statewide 24-hour hotline and incident reporting system staffed by trained personnel.
• Operate a statewide register that contains the names of individuals found responsible for egregious or repeated acts of abuse or neglect.
• Centralize and perform functions relating to criminal history background checks.
• Investigate serious allegations of abuse and neglect.
• Prosecute criminal acts of abuse and neglect.
• Analyze abuse patterns and trends in order to prevent future occurrences.
