Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications YOU MUST BE A CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT TO THIS POSITION.

Eligible for 52.6 transfer by having one year of permanent, competitive service in an appropriate title; or eligible for a lateral transfer.

Duties Description The prospective employee will work under a G-18 in a team environment responsible for assisting with onsite end user support and management of IT hardware equipment in the New York City office. The prospective employee will provide assistance to end users as it relates to NYSIF personal computing, both hardware and software. Additionally, the candidate will assist with the ITS hardware asset hardware inventory in New York City, including the maintenance of hardware inventory system data, participation in the annual Physical Inventory and the tagging, storage and disposal of ITS equipment. Experience and sound knowledge of basic computer functionality, including Windows operating systems, is necessary. Demonstrated ability to engage in good customer service skills when working with end users is required.
