Job Specifics

Duties Description Under the supervision of the Revenue Supervisor, cashiers will be responsible for:
• Registering patrons for different classes in park programs, processing payments for all activities, and booking reservations for picnic areas, skating and permits.
• Processing cash transactions as well as credit card transactions and money orders; handling and accounting for cash in their drawer; and checking for counterfeit bills.
• Managing different codes and two separate accounts, requiring a strong attention to detail.
• Making copies and typing posting notes to inform patrons of any events or changes.
• Interacting with patrons to resolve questions, distributing information, and providing excellent customer service.
• Distributing the mail; assisting head cashiers as needed with the carousel and wristbands; and collecting money at athletic and cultural events.
• Assisting in other areas of the park as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess good customer service skills to professionally deliver services.
• Must be willing to support operational needs and special projects throughout the NYC Region as needed.

Work Schedule: 32-40 hours/week
