Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled trades person which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.

Duties Description This position performs journey level HVAC and plumbing repairs, upgrades and installation at the regional office, campgrounds and maintenance centers. The position will work with regional and central office engineering/energy staff in scoping, sizing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installation of commercial HVAC and domestic hot water systems, including, but not
limited to, boilers, heat pumps, biomass, geothermal, solar and other green infrastructure systems and the associated electrical, pneumatic, thermal and electronic components. Assignments will also require hands on skills and knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry and electrical projects.

Additional Comments This position will be located at 232 Golf Course Road in Warrensburg. However, the candidate will be required to work at all the facilities operated out of the Warrensburg working circle when necessary.

Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain. Must be able to work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 80 pounds.
