Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be eligible for transfer or be reachable for appointment from the eligible list.

Candidates will be required to pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy.

This position is eligible for 55b/c designation and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility. Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications and a current 55b/c eligibility letter.

Provisional Appointment: There are no minimum education or experience requirements for these examinations. For provisional appointment candidates must be able to pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates their ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy.

Additional Comments Conditions of Employment:
For 55b/c appointment, candidates must possess the minimum qualifications, a current 55b/c eligibility letter and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility.

This position leads to a maximum salary of $42,251 based on annual performance advances.

Fingerprinting through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Division of Criminal Justice Services, a background check with the Office of Children and Family Services and clearance from the Justice Center Staff Exclusion List is required for employment. Fees associated with this process are at the applicant’s expense. Fees associated with fingerprinting do not apply if applicant’s fingerprints exist in the NYS TEACH System.
