Job Specifics
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
Under the general direction of the Contact Center Principal Administrative Analyst the Associate Admin Analyst will provide supervision and oversight to DOLs Contact Center. The Contact Center is one central contact point for all DOL customers with telephone and email capabilities and is charged with answer all inquiries received from customers related to any programs offered by the NYSDOL.
The Associate Administrative Analyst will plan, organize, and supervise the activities of the Contact Center, including but not limited to:
o Direct Supervision of at least 2 Senior Administrative Analyst
o Identifies Contact Center personnel requirements and manages hiring and training initiatives.
o The daily performance of Senior Employment Security Clerks and delivery of services to the public and customer program areas.
o Ensures performance metrics are being met or exceeded, responds to questions, concerns and feedback from Contact Center staff and customer program areas.
o Collaborates with Sr. Admin Analyst and Principal Employment Security Clerks to build standards for program evaluation and problem resolution, and to implement quality assurance initiatives.
o Participates in the development and implementation of all Contact Center policies.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates reachable on the Civil Service Eligible list(s) will be canvassed. However, you may also apply if you are eligible for appointment by one of the following qualifications:
REASSIGNMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in a/an Associate Administrative Analyst if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Associate Administrative Analyst eligible list for this location if one exists.
70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of permanent or contingent-permanent as a Grade 21 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.
52.6 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of permanent or contingent-permanent as a Grade 21 or higher determined to be administrative by Civil Service.
