Job Specifics

Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4 the Student Assistant incumbent will support up to 50+ NYS Executive Agency legal departments with their eDiscovery support needs.

• Assist with workflow enablement activities during onboarding.
• Assess, manage, and respond to customer inquiries regarding the eDiscovery platform(s) workflow across entire product line.
• Capture customer and prospective customer requirements and work with internal teams to create scopes of work and implementation plans to address business needs.
• Participate in meetings as required and assist with the preparation of presentation materials.
• Delivery of One-to-Many programming as created by Community Enablement. Competency to work within a single customer segment.
• Demonstrate consistent commitment to ITS's core values.
• Create necessary documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations to teach clients about the eDiscovery platform(s) functionality and the value proposition.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the eDiscovery platform(s) suite by consulting internally with teams and other resources, individual study, future product enhancements, and added features.
• Create PowerShell scripts to access application programmable interface's (API) for the eDiscovery platform(s)
• Create SQL database queries

Minimum Qualifications • Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
• Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year’s worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.

Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis. This position can be part time or full time.
