Job Specifics
Duties Description Serve as a lead for Research & Statistics (R&S) on Subpoena and FOIL request processing.
Communicate with Counsel regarding questions arising from individual requests.
Coordinate with other staff processing subpoena and FOIL requests to make sure responses to Counsel are timely.
Respond to Subpoena and FOIL requests from Counsel's Office.
Query available data sources using SQL to provide the data needed by Counsel.
Tailor each query to accommodate the request.
Record each request/response in the Subpoena Tracker spreadsheet.
Assist with maintenance and development of Management reports.
Respond to ad hoc requests.
Serve as backup for Datamart.
Serve as the lead within R&S on the utilization of the Local Area Statistical Adjustment Model (LASAM) in determining future WIOA Primary Indicators of Performance as required by USDOL.
Serve as the lead role within R&S for UI Data Sharing Agreements.
Serve as the lead role within R&S on development and maintenance of the DEWS-Cognos Management Reports.
Serve as the lead role within R&S for Workforce Utilization Projects.

Reassignment Qualifications: (DOL EMPLOYEES ONLY)
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in an Associate Economist (Labor Research), Grade 23; if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Associate Economist (Labor Research) eligible list for this location, if one exists.
70.1 Transfer Qualifications:
One year of permanent or contingent-permanent as a Grade 23 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.
