Job Specifics
Duties Description The New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) provides operational support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, supporting more than 4,900 applications for 53 New York State Agencies.
Under the direction of a Senior Client Relationship Manager (CRM), the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) will be assigned to the Gaming and Public Integrity (GPI) dedicated team overseen by the Deputy Commissioner for Technology (DCT). The incumbent will serve as an external point of contact between several client NYS agencies and internal ITS teams. As a member of the GPI Client Engagement team, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting with communication, incident management, projects, supervising staff, conducting analysis, documenting existing processes, identifying areas of improvement, coordinating training, providing orientation to agency users on ITS policies or procedures and overall support of Client Engagement staff and projects in service of client agencies.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Collaborate with Business Solutions and cross-functional agency teams to guide incidents and initiatives through the lifecycle.
• Maintain weekly deliverable summarizing the work being done for each client agency.
• Oversee the escalation process for critical incidents/requests.
• Advocate for the business impacts/needs based on client agency business processes.
• Advise client agency stakeholders on ITS business processes, products and services.
• Assist project management team with project tasks including analysis, design, testing, deployment and training.
• Perform analysis activities, gathering information to assist with projects including documentation of existing processes, identifying areas of improvements.
• Lead and facilitate meetings, provide recommendations, identify risks, and facilitate reviews.
• Maintain ownership of multiple internal and external ServiceNow lists
• Perform the full range of supervisory duties.
Minimum Qualifications Promotion: One year of permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 2, Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming), or Supervising Computer Operator OR in a position at SG-21 or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades.

Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
