Job Specifics

Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Function as a liaison between Claims Staff and Investigation Vendors
• Advise NYSIF Staff on requesting investigations to reach claim objectives
• Ensure INV and other programs provide necessary tools and function properly
• Provide investigation vendors guidance to ensure contract compliance
• Participate in the evaluation of bids submitted in response to RFP
• Assign investigations to appropriate vendors
• Complete evaluations on each investigation to ensure compliance with NYSIF’s contract
• Other occupational duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

• Reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for this title; OR
• One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. Eligible titles include, but are not limited to: Claims Services Representative 1, Insurance Fund Services Specialist 2, Policy Holder Services Representative 1, Underwriter 1.

Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
