Job Specifics

Duties Description The Program Aide duties in Audit Services will include, but are not limited to the following:
-Develop, maintain, and update spreadsheets, electronic files, and SharePoint site for tracking external audits ensuring required meetings are held; requests for documents and answers to questions are addressed; and responses to audit findings are provided, approved, and submitted on-time.
-Monitor and organize shared mailboxes ensuring incoming requests are addressed timely and work is properly distributed.
-Draft workflow reports including tabulating and creating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and charts.
-Prepare, review, revise, maintain, and distribute documents.
-Provide input and make recommendations that promote efficiency and accuracy of Audit Services' processes.
-Assist with coordination of the recruitment and interview process for the unit.
-Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of team members. -Monitor and track: timely completion of staff performance evaluations and auditor completion of annual training hours in compliance with audit standards.

Minimum Qualifications Candidate must be reachable on the current Civil Service list for Program Aide

TRANSFER:
Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive, non-competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1, 70.4, or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment; complete assignments timely; have strong organizational and communication skills; excellent attention to detail; and a desire to contibute to a team-oriented workplace. The preferred candidate should also have a high level of competence using the following computer programs: Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point; Access; Outlook; and Adobe Pro.
