Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks a self-motivated, forward-thinking Service & Repair Assistant (HVAC-R) to join the Facilities Department in the HVAC-R Shop. The Service & Repair Assistant (HVAC-R) performs routine and repetitive tasks in the inspection, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. Generally, the Service & Repair Assistants (HVAC-R) work under the supervision of a Service and Repair Mechanic (HVAC-R), or supervisory maintenance position. After incumbents learn and perfect their craft, they may perform journey level activities under supervision or after receiving detailed instructions.

Minimum Qualifications Two-years of full-time experience in heating, plumbing, electrical, steam-fitting, air-conditioning,or refrigeration work under the supervision of a journey level tradesperson; OR
Completion of a two-year technical school course in heating, refrigeration, or air-conditioning ata school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.
Unrestricted Drivers License with clean driving record
