Job Specifics
Duties Description This position within the OHIP DFRS Admin Unit will provide technical support for the Division by acting as the main POC for rate packages, recruitment activities, data collection and upkeep, SharePoint and the Nursing Home Equity Withdrawals database that is housed between DFRS and OALTC under the leadership of the DFRS team.
This role will be responsible for preparing and maintaining rate package materials, preparing reports, corresponding with DOB and the Executive Chamber to answer and research questions, provide weekly reports on outstanding rate package items, analyze data, provide statistics for DOB requests, coordinate responses on Nursing Home appeals within the Equity Withdrawals program, meeting deadlines on requests from outside providers, work with the OHIP Admin Unit within DFRS to revamp the main SharePoint Intranet landing site, maintain trackers and databases pertaining to recruitment activities and staffing levels and various other programmatic duties as assigned. Additionally, will coordinate schedules for Division level leadership with high level DOH, DOB and Chamber staff. Assist with tracking staffing levels and maintaining vacancy lists.
Minimum Qualifications Current New York State Department of Health employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive, service as a Program Aide, SG-13; OR Current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive, service in a title allocated to SG-11 or higher, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide, SG-13, under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
