Duties include assisting with policy formulation and program development; providing leadership and direction in coordinating resident care services; monitoring and assuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and Department of Health requirements; training and development of staff; assisting in the development of the annual expenditure plans; supervising several department heads, and coordinating the functions and activities of their units; and providing oversight of the facility and its operations in the Administrator’s absence.
