Job Specifics

Duties Description - Regional Local Project Liaison duties to assist project sponsors with project creation, to monitor project development and delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate inter-agency agreements, funding and reimbursements.

- Project Scoping duties include developing initial cost and schedule estimates, developing project proposals, identification of alternative treatments and drafting of related documents

- Other duties to include Bike/Ped Coordinator and BAC-PAC, ADA compliance, coordination of non-let projects and VPP program coordination, supervision of staff

- Additional duties may be assigned that are tailored to the expertise and experience of the selected candidate

- Local Emergency Response Program Coordination

Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable from the appropriate Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.

Additional Comments Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The salary range listed reflects the full range for this graded position. For new State employees appointed into graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position. Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
