Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience working in Child Welfare casework, one of which must include developing and/or delivering training involving the concepts and techniques of Child Welfare casework.
Duties Description
Provide day to day supervision and evaluation of Training Specialist 1s (Child Welfare)
Coach and mentor Training Specialist 1s (Child Welfare)
Schedule and assign staff to present Child Welfare training throughout New York State.
Oversee, participate in, and provide subject matter expertise for curriculum development.
Review and approve proposals for training programs.
Review and evaluate lesson plans prepared by Training Specialist 1s (Child Welfare)
Generate and analyze HSLC reports of training scheduling, attendance, and evaluation.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
