Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications New York State certification in Elementary Education; Requirements for appointment at each level;

Teacher 2: Current NYS Education Department provisional/initial certification in classroom teaching the appropriate specialty-minimum pay $21,493 yearly.

Teacher 3: Current NYS Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching the appropriate specialty-minimum pay $24,013 yearly.

Teacher 4: Current NYS Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty with two years of post certification (provisional/initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty-minimum pay $26,784 yearly.

Duties Description Provide academic education to offenders in a New York Stat correctional facility.

Additional Comments Salary grade 13-17 based on qualifications/experience.
