Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications This a non-competitive position, no examination necessary. However, must meet the minimum qualifications of the position. Candidates must have a high school diploma and either one year of experience in dental assisting or graduation from accredited program in dental assisting.

Duties Description As a Dental Assistant, in general, you may handle and manipulate various dental instruments and pieces of apparatus in order to assist Dental Practitioners and Dental students in the examination and treatment of patients in Dental treatment office. You may also keep clinical records of conditions and treatments and simple clinical records of appointments and accounts. The level of the titles within this career ladder vary based on level of supervision, complexity of the duties involved, degree of independent judgment, etc.
