Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Human Resources Specialist 1 Staffing, SG-18: eligible for a 52.6 transfer

Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1 Staffing, NS: Eligible for a Section 70.1 or 70.4 transfer, or 55-b/c eligible (Must have Bachelor’s Degree and 55b/c designation letter to qualify)

Duties Description Under the supervision of a Human Resources Specialist 2 Staffing, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for:

• Assisting Civil Service and agency personnel staff with appointment certification process.

• Monitoring the Eligible List Management System (ELMS) and providing appropriate training and guidance to Department, the Business Service Center and agency personnel staff on ELMS issues.

• Reviewing reemployment transactions and monitoring list revocations.

• Overseeing weekly payroll and resolving issues to avoid check holds and certification issues that may compromise incoming appointments.
