Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55 b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As a Program Aide in the LEAD office, the incumbent will perform paraprofessional duties, including but not limited to:

Handle inquiries, including calls, visitors, training room assistance, shared mailbox, and incoming correspondence regarding training and Personnel matters as assigned
Act as Primary Administrator of the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS); run queries, reports, bulk uploading of data, enrollment and attendance, and troubleshooting customer issues
Collect, tabulate, and analyze data and statistics; develop and maintain database objects, spreadsheets and charts as required for specific projects; and draft reports to document analyses and procedures
Assist in preparing and executing short-term and long-range work projects
Develop and maintaining database programs as required for specific projects
Assist upper level staff in preparing and editing correspondence, guidelines, and other various documents
Set meetings and maintain calendars
Provide various reports for submission to the Director/Assistant Director and other divisions within DOL
Assist in maintaining inventory of office equipment, which includes the signing in/out of LEAD equipment to customers
File documents and purge folders as needed
Assist in special projects, as assigned
