Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have taken and passed a NYS Civil Service examination and be reachable off the Civil Service eligible list.

Duties Description SUNY Empire State College, Office of Student Accounts, is currently seeking an Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) at our Saratoga Springs, NY location.

The Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) duties include reviewing and approving sponsorship awards from corporations, unions and other organizations for student's tuition, fees or a combination of both in accordance with each sponsor's requirements. Other responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of sponsor billing, electronic scanning of documents and financial graduation clearances.

The ability to analyze account transactions, to maintain accuracy when working with a high quantity of records, to spot anomalies, to consistently track data, to work with deadlines and prioritize duties, are essential to this position. Professional communication with students and staff by phone and e-mail is required.

Student Accounts is dedicated to continuous improvement of our service to students by maximizing our technology and resources. The successful candidate should have an aptitude for learning new computer applications quickly and efficiently.
