Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in NYS and have one year of full time in post RN licensure clinical nursing experience.

Duties Description Administers medications to individuals for reactions or side effects, Records individual's medical information and vital signs. Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in individuals. Monitors all aspects of an individuals care, including diet. Prepares individuals for/and assists with examinations. refers individuals to specialized health resources. Provides health care, fist aid, immunizations, or assistance in convalescence or rehabilitation. Conducts laboratory tests. Implements infection control protocols, advising or consulting with staff about necessary precautions. Accounts for the issuance of controlled drugs and narcotics; and inventories such drugs on each shift work.
