Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Two years of satisfactory supervisory experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping or retail operations. Retail operations will include responsibilities dealing with the public, customer service and daily financial reporting and processing.

Duties Description Cleaning campground bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, floors), performing manual labor such as raking, shoveling, picking up litter, digging ditches, removing brush/firewood, and assisting with snow removal during winter months. Must be able to assist with the construction of fireplaces and picnic tables, traverse rough terrain, climb ladders, and work in remote locations and extreme weather conditions. Will use hand and power equipment such as saws, drills, and log splitters. Must also be able to prepare payroll, personnel, and budgeting documents. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Use of personal protection equipment, including a respirator, will be required. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain and/or work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Travel may be required. Overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be available for emergency response. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 3/31/2019. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 3/31/2019. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements will be discussed at the interview.
