Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a Section 52.6 transfer.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will be located in the Program Administration Unit (PAU) and will be responsible for:

• Assisting with all substantive aspects of the design, testing and implementation of NYBEAS enhancements or program changes.

• Developing and cataloguing the New York Benefits Eligibility and Accounting System (NYBEAS) testing scripts in order to identify programming issues which should be escalated to PAU management for consideration of ITS resources.

• Working with PAU Senior Staff to enhance New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) MyNYSHIP functionality, including improving site functionality and increasing the site’s overall utilization as a benefits self-service portal.

• Ensuring staff is trained in accordance with documented procedures.
