Minimum Qualifications NURSE 2/SG-16
Minimum qualifications for taking the open competitive examination: must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State AND have one year of full-time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience. (5/12)

Duties Description Supervise nursing care activities, including the preparation, elevation and implementation of nursing care plans provide consultation on nursing matters to members of the clinical team; administers medications to individuals and monitors individuals for reactions or side effects; records individuals medical information and vital sighs; prepares individuals for and assists with examinations or treat implements infection control protocols, advising or consulting with staff about necessary precautions; accounts fro the issuance of controlled drugs and narcotics; maintains accurate and detailed reports and records; carious other nursing duties as deemed appropriate.

Additional Comments This position is for an evening shift, 3pm-11pm. There is a $2,000 shift differential and a $8,000 geographic pay differential included in the annual salary listed.
