Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Nurse 1: Possession of a license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State.

Nurse 2: Possession of a license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State and one year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.

Duties Description Nurse 1 or 2 conduct health assessments, diagnose and treat
individuals responses to actual, potential or diagnosed health
problems though the provision of care supportive to or
restorative of life and well being and execute medical regimens
prescribed by a licensed heath care provider. Nurses also service
on interdisciplinary healthcare teams and health related
committees to plan and implement health care. Nurses exist in multiple agencies throughout the state.
