Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Permanent/Professional certification as a teacher of trade subjects in the appropriate specialist as issued by the New York State Education Department and two-years of appropriate trade teaching experience.

Duties Description To teach computer literacy to inmates, Your duties would include the preparation of lesson plans, course outlines, trade analyses and educational progress reports and may include shop layout planning, the establishment of shop safety programs and the maintenance of tools and equipment. As a Vocational Instructor 4, you will have more independence of action and good judgment is expected.
