Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications An Associate's Degree in the field of physical education, recreation, recreational therapy, or a closely related recreational field, and 2 years experience directing or assisting in the direction of a scheduled, organized recreational program
or
A Bachelor's Degree in physical education, recreation, recreational therapy, or a closely related recreational field
or
A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience as described in number 1 above.

Duties Description Monitor facility policy and procedures which govern the utilization and issuance of recreational equipment by the facility's inmates. Promote participation of inmates in recreation activities, supervise, monitor inmate league sports competitions, inspect/inventory all recreation equipment an supplies on a daily basis. Provide for all aspects of recreation for inmates in accordance with facility needs.
