Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor, and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Candidates may be expected to be qualified to use negative pressure respirators.

May be filled from a mandatory reemployment list if one is in effect at the time of appointment.

Duties Description For Cleaner positions with Pressure Washing / Window Washing duties.  Ability to operate a lift, knowledge of pressure operation; work at heights using a 1,500 to 3,000 psi pressure washer; work outdoors using ladders; operate equipment with a standard shift transmission; cleaning windows outside of buildings up to four (4) stories high requiring heavy physical effort; use poles up to 50 feet long in upright position; valid NYS drivers license required
