Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications for taking the open competitive examination: must be licensed and currently registered to proacting nursing in New York State AND have one year of full-time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.

Duties Description Administers medication to individuals and monitors individuals for reactions, records vitals, monitor symptoms or changes in individuals’ conditions. Conducts health assessments, diagnose, and treat individuals to actual, potential, or diagnosed health problems though the provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being; and executive medical regimen prescribed by a licensed health care provider. Nurses also serve on the interdisciplinary health care terms and health related committees to plan and implement health care.
