Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Eligible to transfer into this title based on one year of permanent, competitive class service as an Information Technology Specialist 3; or, one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title approved by the Department of Civil Service for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Examples of eligible titles include: Chief Computer Operator, Information Technology Specialist 3 (Systems Programming), Information Technology Specialist 3 (Data Communications), Information Technology Specialist 3 (Database). Duties Description The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) is seeking candidates for an Information Technology Specialist 3 position in the Operations Team.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily operational coverage including evening and weekend system maintenance
- Supervise and manage operations staff
- Operate Job Scheduling systems
- Communicate and coordinate with other IT groups and business managers
