Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the current Civil Service eligible list for the Secretary 2 title.

OR

Transfer: Candidates must be permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer, OR be eligible to transfer via Section (ie: 70.1, 70.4, 52.6) of the Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second Consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Duties Description The Incumbent will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Director and the Program Associates of the Willowbrook Consumer Advisory Board.

Specific Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

-Assist with completing correspondence to outside and inside entities, including preparing board requested summaries.
-Type, proofread and edit all correspondence for signature and approval of the Executive Director.
-Coordinate meetings and maintain electronic calendar on a daily basis for board members.
-Respond to queries from outside agencies both via telephone and email to route to appropriate staff.
-Maintain agency databases and spreadsheets.
-prepare statistics and reports on a quarterly basis as needed.
-Sort and distribute all incoming mail timely on a daily basis.
-Maintain internal personnel files, including but not limited to memos, time off requests,etc.
-other responsibilities as assigned.
