Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c
service in a title Grade 07 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.

PROVISIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: One Year of Permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c in an office assistant, clerical, or keyboarding title allocated to Grade 5 or higher.

Examples of non-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1, Direct Support Assistant, Food Service Worker 1, Licensed Practical Nurse, Mental Health Therapy Aide, Security Services Assistant, and Youth Division Aide.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As an Office Assistant 2 duties include but are not limited to:
• Counts and batches all work, including hearing requests, to be imaged into electronic work queues,
• Assigns work to staff in the electronic queues
• Reviews and assigns approximately 1,000 e-faxes monthly
• Opens and stamps all US Mail and correspondence/memos received from other units, including hearing requests

Additional Comments Please Note: Positions in the Unemployment Insurance Division may be in-person, remote, or partially remote and partially in-person. Remote employees will be required to report in-person if directed. These positions may be subject to mandatory and/or voluntary overtime, which may include evening and weekend hours. Shift start times may vary based on operational need.
