Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate with experience and overall knowledge of inventory procedures, warehousing and stores operations. The candidate must be able to perform frequent bending and lifting. Some of the lifting will require lifting of boxes that weight 50 pounds or more. In addition, some large boxes require stacking of up to 6 feet high. The candidate must be able to push heavy carts long distances through the Home and ensure the safety of the residents and staff. Understanding and commitment to the Home’s core values and philosophy that residents come first is essential.
Duties Description Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Order stock to maintain on-hand supply of inventory sufficient to meet routine institutional requirements. Receive inventory and check against purchase orders, invoices and packing slips. Fill requisitions from various departments for routine supplies and deliver in a timely manner. Maintain accurate inventory records to monitor and control stock levels. Tag all new equipment and maintain necessary equipment records.
Performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and related activities. Incumbents may also perform journey level activities, under supervision or after receiving detailed instructions.
