Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in environmental education programs; or one year of college study with specialization in natural sciences, natural resources, or environmental education. Preference will be given to applicants having experience in environmental outreach and civic engagement.
Duties Description This position will assist the Division of Lands and Forests in administering the Volunteer Stewardship and Trail Patch Programs by preparing reports and performing other support activities; research, write, and produce educational and promotional materials, social media posts, press releases, and webpage content; assist with logging and processing permit requests; review, edit and prepare correspondence; and may supervise volunteers.
Additional Comments This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with a duration through 3/31/2023. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to date listed. Actual work hours and schedule may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
