Minimum Qualifications Permanent competitive service as an Investigator 1 Spanish Language. Candidates currently reachable for appointment from the Investigator 1 Spanish Language eligible list or 55-b/c eligible are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to demonstrate Spanish language proficiency at a level that will ensure their ability to perform the duties of the position.

Duties Description Under the supervision of a senior investigator, the incumbent will investigate allegations of violations of licensing law/malpractice committed by a variety of occupational license holders regulated by the Department of State (DOS); conduct unannounced field inspections of businesses licensed by DOS; prepare and submit detailed investigative reports of findings that may be utilized in Administrative Hearings.
