Duties Description We have two Program Aide positions available in the Division of Environmental Stewardship and Planning that offer an exciting opportunity for the right candidates. One position is assigned to the Planning and Analysis Section and the other is assigned to the Real Property Unit.

The Planning and Analysis Section is responsible for ensuring the Agency's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations, as well as providing technical assistance in developing regional, park and historic site plans, providing planning assistance with the development of capital projects, assisting with trail assessments, and assisting parks with surveys and trend analysis.

The Real Property Unit develops and implements policy for the acquisition of lands and properties, negotiates the actual purchase/exchange, reviews appraisals, procures/performs surveys, negotiates property use transactions, and reviews land bequests and donations prior to acceptance.

These two positions are critical to the Division in providing administrative support, coordination, and organization. If you have good computer skills, are organized, are a good communicator, and want to work with a great group of environmental professionals, then come JOIN OUR TEAM!

Additional Comments CANDIDATES SHOULD:

Be familiar with the State Financial System (SFS) program, state purchasing, and travel requirements

Be able to evaluate and improve on forms, processes, and operating procedures to increase efficiency and production
