Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will access individuals (alongside Nurse 2) on their caseload during their shift to monitor health and ensure that the individuals
are responding positively to all treatment modalities prescribed by physicians and other speciality practioners.
• Responsible for administrating feeding and medication to all individuals who have gastronomy tubes and who require nursing care.
• Responsible for flushing and ensuring all gastronomy tubes are functioning properly.
• Responsible for learning and developing the plans of nursing service for individuals on their caseload and train direct care staff on
the implementation of these plans while under the supervision of shift Nurse 2.
• Member of the interdisciplinary treatment team for the individuals on their caseload requiring a minimum of an annual and
semi-annual nursing assessment and updating the medical information summary to present to the team.
• Other duties as required.
