Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Permanent Service as a Licensed Master Social Worker 1
Eligible for 70.1 transfer to a Licensed Master Social Worker 1 title
Provisional Appointment: Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)


This employee is assigned to the Self-Direction Unit and will be responsible for the following tasks:

•Operational support to the program
•Oversee Self-Direction plan development
•Review and authorize services and send out approvals to stakeholders
•Maintain current department statistics
•Provide education and oversight to budget preparation and management process
•Responsible for fiscal resource management
•Educate stakeholders about Self-Direction through information sessions, presentations, and trainings
•Maintain documentation compliance
•Review and approve proposed Housing Subsidies
•Promote and develop individualized initiatives regionally and statewide
•Participate in a variety of interdepartmental committees
•Provide technical assistance to stakeholders
•Additional assignments at the direction of Regional Office Director or designee.
