Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As an Office Assistant 3 in the Division of Labor Standards you may be responsible for:
• Supervising clerical staff engaged in processing, recording, maintaining and reviewing electronic and/or paper documents.
• You would apply specific legislation, laws and regulation and unique work procedures to provide services to the public or program staff; provide advice to and otherwise assist supervisors in planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating work operations and procedures.
• Respond in writing or by telephone to inquiries from other unit, agencies or the public concerning the operations of the section; periodically prepare narrative and statistical reports; and ensure that staff is adequately trained.
