Minimum Qualifications Reassignment Qualifications: One year of permanent competitive service as an Auditor 2, Grade 23.
70.1 Transfer Qualifications:
One year of permanent, competitive service in a title designated as appropriate for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law*. Such titles include: Associate Accountant, Contract Management Specialist 2, Internal Auditor 2, and State Program Examiner 2.
*Candidates must have completed 24 semester credit hours in Accounting/Auditing/Taxation.
Duties Description The Auditor 2 will oversee all aspects of the Article 21 Milk Dealer licensing, auditing, and producer security programs. Licensing is the primary tool in providing oversight of the dairy industry by ensuring milk is handled safely and properly; and producers are paid fully, accurately and promptly. For dealers buying from producers, it is especially important dealers are properly licensed and required security is on file to protect dairy farmers in the event the buying dealer defaults in payment.
