70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: An employee with one-year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 7 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

PROVISIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: You must be a qualified employee of the Department of Labor and have had one year of competitive service or 55b/55c service in an office assistant, clerical or keyboarding title allocated to a Grade 5 or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: As an Office Assistant 2 in the Division of Labor Standards, you would provide assistance with office clerical functions such as
• Preparing correspondence, documents, records and other written material
• Assist with gathering and compiling data for reports
• Perform clerical and office support activities such as processing applications, requests, and inquiries, filing, database entry and maintenance, server maintenance and backup, handling phone calls, office supply ordering, and office mail.
