Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Transfer Eligibility Requirement: You must have a current permanent appointment with a minimum of 1 year of service in a position of the same title or transferable title.

Reassignment Requirement: You must hold the same title at the University at Buffalo.

Reinstatement Requirement: You must be a former state employee to request reinstatement to the title that was held (or transferable title).

Duties Description Position Summary:
As a part of our team, you will work with experts on payroll related activities at UB. Tasks assigned to this position may include processing staff appointments, calculating salaries and payments, maintaining position and account information, auditing payrolls, generating reports, and communicating with a variety of different people. We invite you to be a payroll examiner 1 within the payroll department.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Master oracle applications, the SUNY system, a home grown application to manage appointment and payroll actions and state wide payroll
• Knowledge expert in all areas of payroll
• Adhere to all University , SUNY and State policies
• Communicate regularly at meetings and while serving on committees
