MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be reachable on the PCO exam with a score of 110, 105 or 100. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GET TO ANY SCORES LOWER THAN 100 AT THIS TIME. OR must be currently serving in a New York State Civil Service title eligible for 70.1 or 56.2 transfer. Please refer to the GOT IT website to verify eligibility for transfer.

Duties Description The incumbent will work primarily with staffing/employment for the Office of Rent Administration and will report to the HR Specialist 2.
• Responsible for the full recruitment life cycle for ORA DHCR to include, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references and onboarding qualified candidates based on departmental business needs and requests.
• Provides guidance and assistance to job applicants and NYSHCR's departments in the navigation of the company's web-based job application and selection process.
• Acts as point person for candidate inquiries
• Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with managers and applicants to ensure achievement of staffing goals
• Maintains strict confidentiality of clients and records.
• conducting employee-oriented services (ex: fact finding and investigations, new hire orientations etc)
• Interfacing on a regular basis with service agencies and outside entities (ex: Civil Service, OER, BSC etc)
• Interacting with other units within HR such as time and attendance, benefits, and labor relations
• Assisting in special projects as assigned
