Minimum Qualifications 2 years of administrative experience in an office environment required.

Duties Description An exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding opportunity awaits the qualified candidate for this job.

Under direct supervision of the Director of Correspondence, the Confidential Aide inputs all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence to the Intertrac database and answers the Citizens Assistance Phone Line.

DUTIES:
• Sort incoming mail delivered thrice-daily to the Executive Correspondence office
• Scan, input, and route all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence, as assigned by the Director
• Perform related duties as necessary
• Answer Citizen Services phone line between 9AM-5PM
• Tally and log constituents’ issues, opinions, and/or contact information in Intertrac for inclusion in the Weekly Correspondence Report
• Provide weekly reports of all incoming calls
• Route callers to the appropriate Chamber staff or agency
• Refer constituents with difficult or unclear issues to the Director of Correspondence processing for handling
• Maintain a familiarity with state agency roles, functions, and responsibilities, as well as with current issues and events
• Assist as a backup for Proclamations Office Admin
• Prepare and distribute accordingly all request for Governor’s Pen Certificates for passed legislation requested by all Elected Officials
