70.1 transfer
For a 70.1 transfer to this title, you must have one year of permanent competitive service in a 70.1 title allocated to a salary grade 16 or above.
52.6 transfer
For a 52.6 transfer to this title, you must have one year of permanent competitive service in a 52.6 title allocated to a salary grade 16 or above.

55-b/c program appointment:
For a 55 b/c appointment, you must:
• Possess the minimum qualifications for the selected title as established by the Department of Civil Service and listed on the most recent exam announcement. (Open Competitive exam announcement - ITS 1 & 2)
• Meet the applicable minimal mental and/or physical requirements for the job (with a reasonable accommodation, if necessary)
• Have a current Eligibility Letter from the NYS Department of Civil Service www.cs.ny.gov/rp55/, and be able to provide it to the Human Resources Office upon request.
Duties Description • Develop, remediate, enhance, and refactor Qlik (formerly Attunity) Replicate/Compose objects to implement design solutions and to enhance code readability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Migrate, deploy, and compile code or objects to the development and QA environments, as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues, system users, business analysts and other Chief Information Office (CIO) teams to gather requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Analyze Qlik Replicate/Compose objects, system data, and system configuration.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues.
• Design solutions to satisfy requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Create test plans and test conditions to verify that the requirements of system changes and enhancements are met. Unit and integration testing should be included in the design, as required.
• Prepare the environment and data for testing.
• Create and maintain documents, including but not limited to:
• Program units and objects
• Processes
• Solutions identified to resolve problems
• Test plans
• Business requirements
• System design
• Use cases
Additional Comments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated experience in Development, Programming Languages, Protocols and Tools (3 months to less than 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis (3 months to less than 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience in Oracle PL/SQL (3 months to less than 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience in SQL (3 months to less than 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Demonstrated experience modelling data for reporting and analytics.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing test plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
