All OMH Central Office employees who are vaccinated for COVID-19 must show proof of vaccination. Fully vaccinated means that two (2) or more weeks have elapsed since receiving either the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or the first and only dose of a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson [J&J]/Janssen). Those not vaccinated must indicate this. Vaccination is required for many OMH positions but not all. Those not vaccinated for COVID-19 are ineligible for appointment to positions that require vaccination.

Duties Description The MHPS2 Clinical Supervisor serves as a primary source of clinical consultation and supervision for the SES Outreach Specialists. These staff are not in clinical roles but have direct client contact on a daily basis as part of their outreach and monitoring efforts. This often times reveals risk factors, such as harm to self/others or need for Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service involvement.

The MHPS2 Clinical Supervisor is critical in assessing for risk, ensuring appropriate intervention, and supporting staff throughout this process. The MHPS2 Clinical Supervisor also utilizes their clinical experience to assist staff in engaging individuals, assessing for barriers to treatment, and identifying appropriate level of care and treatment recommendations.

The MHPS2 Clinical Supervisor provides consultation to State-operated outpatient programs specifically related to engagement strategies and barriers to treatment. This involves review of the MHARS medical record, PSYCKES and TACT to develop an understanding of an individual's treatment needs, risk factors, and creative strategies that can be used to activate the individual in their recovery. Recommendations are then made to outpatient programs in an effort to intervene and prevent an unsuccessful discharge.

Additional Comments Specific scheduled hours and telecommuting availability for this position will be discussed during the interview process. Please note, employees are required to apply and obtain approval through management to telecommute according to operational needs and Agency Telecommuting Program Guidelines.
