Salary RangeFrom $46983 to $57231 Annually

Duties Description This position provides administrative support to the Bureau of Program Certification (BPC) within the Division of Quality Improvement. Our division has greatly expanded in recent years due to the high visibility placed on OPWDD and specifically this division. The workload standard for this position includes providing administrative support and assistance to an Area Director (SCA 3 DD) and approximately 30 professional staff (SCAs 2 DD and SCAs 1 DD). In addition, the incumbent's responsibilities include the following:
• Act as administrative liaison with the NYS Department of Health regarding the submission of documentation and paperwork for all Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) programs statewide. Also provide administrative support to all statewide BPC Area Directors regarding ICF paperwork.
• Type statements of deficiencies following survey visits, as well as a significant amount of other official correspondence, manage and provide coverage for all incoming calls/communications, and supervise other subordinate staff who do the some of this work.
• Track BPC staff completion of all required federal ICF trainings, schedule and track all survey-related activities including survey visits, statements of deficiency, and plans of corrective action.
• Maintain files for all survey visits, investigations, Area Directors' correspondence, other federal and state issued correspondence, etc.
• Maintain office equipment and office supplies, including forms required for use by professional staff in the field.
• Schedule and setup for all video conferencing.
• Assist with onboarding of new staff for the office.
• Supervision of secretarial staff.
• Assist BPC Leadership in other duties as assigned.
